There are many ways you can get involved at Burnt Hickory! Whether you’re looking for a one-time opportunity or a consistent way to serve, we have a variety of roles that let you use your gifts to bless others and bring glory to God. Check out some of our current opportunities below.
Serve Team
Be the first to know about exciting ways to make a difference. No pressure to jump into every event, sign up to stay in the loop, and we will notify you when new opportunities pop up. It’s the easiest way to stay connected and never miss a chance to serve.

Vacation Bible School
Date: June 8–12 | Time: 8:30am–12:30pm
Commitment: Sign up to work each day in various areas, kids, music, recreation, snacks, etc.
Each summer we host Vacation Bible School and reach over 1000 kids! This week is a great opportunity to spend some time working with our Kids ministry and getting a taste for the joy you can feel investing in the life of the children.

Kitchen Team

Wednesday nights hustle and bustle on campus, but that isn't the only time our Kitchen team is in full swing. If you enjoy serving and making folks, feel welcome, be part of the volunteer team that helps out with all sorts of events!

Parking Team
Date: Sunday mornings
Commitment: Sign up to work a shift
Do you enjoy being outside? Why not be part of our parking team on Sunday mornings. When parking teams are in place the parking process is so much smoother, the teams work on rotation to share the load.

Want to discover specifically how God has designed you to serve? PLACE is an online personality and spiritual gifts assessment that helps identify where you might thrive in serving. Many have found it to be an incredibly helpful investment of their time.

Below are several opportunities to review PLACE.
OPTION 1: Saturday PLACE Workshop 9:30am-Noon
A great way to complete your full PLACE review in a single morning. We will provide breakfast and will have you back to running your errands by Noon. Click the link to register for March 7 or April 25.
OPTION 2: Wednesday 1 Night PLACE Review
Choose one Wednesday evening for a shorter, one‑night review session. This class begins at 6pm and goes until 7:30pm - Click here to register for one of these dates: 4/22, 4/29, 5/6 or 5/13
