Weekly Bible Studies
God’s Word is the foundation for spiritual growth, and we believe life change happens best when people study it together. At Burnt Hickory, Bible studies provide space to dig deeper into Scripture, connect with others, and apply truth in everyday life. Whether you’re new to faith or have followed Jesus for years, there’s a place for you to grow here.

Sign of the Times
Tuesdays | August 12 – November 18 | 9:30 am | Room A172 | Cost: $7
What does the Bible say about end times? Join us as we explore biblical prophecy using The Day Approaching and The Last Hour by Amir Tsarfati. In addition, we will use supporting studies by John MacArthur and commentaries on Ezekiel and Revelation. This combined with other materials will bring us insight from Scripture and current events, and help us learn more about God's plan for Israel, the church and the world, helping us live with peace and purpose today. Teaching: Mary Powers

Bible Study Fellowship
Tuesdays | Ongoing | 7:00 pm | Room A290 | Cost: Free
This year BSF presents a brand new study, Exile and Return. Men, women and children of all ages (0-18 yrs) are invited on a powerful journey through the Old Testament, where God’s people were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story — we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for His glory. As we explore how God equips and positions His people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now.

Jesus and Women
Wednesdays | August 13 – October 10 | 9:30 am | Room A173 | Cost: $24.99
Women of all ages and stages are welcome to step into the world of first-century Israel and see Jesus through the eyes of the women who encountered Him. In this study, Kristi McLelland brings biblical history and culture to life, helping you understand Jesus more deeply and worship Him more fully. Teaching: Natalie Lee

Live Free: A Study of Galatians
Fridays | August 15 – October 10 | 9:30 am | Room A172 | Cost: $15
We all long for peace and freedom, but often look to the wrong things to find it. In this 8-session study of Galatians, Bible teacher Elizabeth Woodson walks verse-by-verse through Paul’s letter to show that true freedom is found only in the gospel of Christ — not in our efforts, status, or beliefs. Discover how to live in the peace and abundance Jesus offers. Teaching: Brooke Shealy
