Weekly Bible Studies
God’s Word is the foundation for spiritual growth, and we believe life change happens best when people study it together. At Burnt Hickory, Bible studies provide space to dig deeper into Scripture, connect with others, and apply truth in everyday life. Whether you’re new to faith or have followed Jesus for years, there’s a place for you to grow here.

Exploring Ezekiel

Exploring Ezekiel reveals the powerful prophecies and promises found in one of the Bible’s most fascinating books. This study highlights God’s unfolding plan for Israel, His promises of restoration, and the hope we have in Christ’s return. Clear and biblically grounded, it offers insight for living with faith and expectancy in today’s world. Teaching: Mary Powers

Bible Study Fellowship
Tuesdays | Ongoing | 7:00 pm | Room Various | Cost: Free
BSF continues its study, Exile and Return. Men, women and children of all ages (0–18 yrs) are invited on a powerful journey through the Old Testament, where God’s people were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story — we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for His glory. As we explore how God equips and positions His people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now.

Breathe
Wednesdays | March 11 – April 15 | 9:30 am | Room A173 | Cost: $26.50
One of the biggest challenges for women today is slowing down long enough to breathe. We’re trapped in constant busyness, chasing endless to‑do lists that keep us from experiencing all God intends for us. When we neglect rest and quiet, we miss opportunities to grow in Christlikeness and to receive God’s gifts. Come discover that the Sabbath was given as a gift, then and now. If you’re weary and worn out, learning the rhythm of Sabbath can transform your life. Teaching: Natalie Lee

The Way of Wisdom
Fridays | March 6 – May 1 | 9:30 am | Room A172 | Cost: $26.50
Proverbs shows godly wisdom as the path to life and warns against the dangers of worldly pursuits. The Way of Wisdom invites you to walk that path through practical insights on words, work, relationships, money, and more. With teaching from Jen Wilkin, Ruth Chou Simons, Kelly Minter, and others, this study helps you apply timeless truth to everyday life. Teaching: Brooke Shealy
