There are many ways you can get involved at Burnt Hickory! Whether you’re looking for a one-time opportunity or a consistent way to serve, we have a variety of roles that let you use your gifts to bless others and bring glory to God. Check out some of our current opportunities below.
Serve Team
Stay in the loop about upcoming ways to serve by joining the Serve Team. There’s no commitment to serve at every event. You’ll simply receive updates whenever new opportunities open up so you never miss a chance to get involved.

PumpkinFest
Date: October 26 | Time: 4–6:30pm
Commitment: Full or split shifts available
Help welcome the community at our annual fall event! Opportunities include leading games, providing oversight for inflatables, and more.

Our biggest Student Ministry outreach offers many ways to serve. Host students in your home, co-host with meals and transportation, help with Saturday recreation, serve meals, or support registration and check-in.

Night to Shine
Date: February 13 | Time: 6–9pm
Commitment: Varies by role
Night to Shine is a prom-style celebration for individuals with special needs. Serve as a buddy for a special guest, or help with preparation, food, entertainment, or general activities.

Want to discover specifically how God has designed you to serve? PLACE is an online personality and spiritual gifts assessment that helps identify where you might thrive in serving. Many have found it to be an incredibly helpful investment of their time.
