Classes
12-18 Month Olds / 2 Days: Classes for 12-18 month olds meet two days a week and you may choose either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday option. Each class will be limited to eight children and have two teachers. All children enrolled in these classes must be walking and able to eat finger foods.
18-24 Month Olds / 2 Days: Classes for 18-24 month olds meet two days a week and you may choose either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday option. 2 Year Olds / 2 Days: Classes meet two days a week. You may choose either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday classes. Each class will have two teachers and ten children.
Older 2 Year Olds / 2 Days: This class is specifically designed for the child who will be turning 3 by December 31. You may choose either a Monday/Wednesday or a Tuesday/Thursday class. Each class will have two teachers and ten children.
3 Year Olds / 2 Days: Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday. Class size is limited to twelve children. Each class has one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
3 Year Olds / 3 Days: Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Class size is limited to twelve children. Each class has one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
3 Year Olds/ 4 Days: Classes meet on Monday through Thursday. Class size is limited to twelve children. Each class has one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
Older 3 Year Olds / 3 Days: Specifically designed for children who are turning 4 by December 31, classes meet on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Class size is limited to twelve children with one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
4 Year Olds / 3 Days: Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Class size is limited to fourteen children. Each class has one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
4 Year Olds / 4 Days: Classes meet Monday through Thursday. Class size is limited to fourteen children. Each class has one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
Early Fives / 5 Days: Classes meet five days a week and are specifically designed for the child who turns 5 between September 2 and December 31. This class option is also open to children who are already 5 on September 1 and are not quite ready for Kindergarten. The class size will be limited to fourteen children with one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
Kindergarten / 5 Days: This class meets five days a week and is offered to children who are already 5 on September 1. This class has slightly different hours than any of the other classes. Children must be 5 years old by September 1 to enroll in this class. The class size is limited to fourteen children with one teacher and a teacher's assistant.
*All children registering for a class designed for children ages three years and older must be completely potty trained to attend. Completely potty trained means a child is able to wear regular underwear (not pull-ups), can verbalize to an adult the need to potty, is capable of manipulating his/her clothing to potty, can wipe his/herself, can flush, can wash and dry hands.
September 1 is the birthday cut off date used to determine placement in all classes. Each student is expected to enroll for the entire year. There will be no refund on registration fees paid.
The BHBC Weekday Education admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
