Men's Ministry
Band of Brothers

The purpose of "Band of Brothers" is to equip men by providing, coordinating and promoting through small group accountability and an environment for fellowship, worship, evangelism, discipleship, missions and ministry. We hold weekly Bible study groups and reach out through large events like the Wild Game Banquet.

Fishes & Loaves Ministry

The Fishes & Loaves Ministry is a group of volunteers who work in food services. Our main role is to prepare, serve and clean up on Wednesday nights for our Wednesday Night Supper. We also help with special events held at the church that involve meals. It is a joy and a privilege to be working for the Lord in this ministry.

Senior Ministry
Happy Hearts

We plan monthly fellowship activities for those in our church and community who are 60 and older. We visit the homebound, provide CD's of the Sunday morning worship service, share communion in homes and meet various other needs as we become aware of them.

Missions Ministry

We believe that every Christian is called and that it is our responsibility as a church, to train, equip and send our people OUT the door to an unsaved world.

To that end, we search for projects, needs or partnerships, abroad and next door, that match the abilities and passions of our members. The construction teams, medical teams, logging teams, hot meals, and business seminars are just tools that enable us to reach out and touch people.

For more information, please visit the Missions Ministry Page or contact:
Brian Foster at (770) 590-0334 or bfoster@burnthickory.com

Prayer Ministry
BHBC Prayer Force

The vision of the BHBC Prayer Leadership Team is that everyone in our church will know through experience and practice that everything they seek to accomplish in ther personal growth and in their work for the Lord must first  begin with prayer - that each person will seek personal cleansing, repentance, and supernatural praying. We want our church family to view ourselves first as people who pray and then as people participating in organized prayer through the prayer ministry.

The goal for our church is that we will be a "...house of prayer..", Isaiah 56:7. So everyone is encouraged to be part of the BHBC Prayer Force (now 785 strong) in addition to other areas of service.

For more information, please visit the Prayer Force Page or contact:
Barbara Clark at (770) 590 - 0366 or prayer@burnthickory.com or bclark@burnthickory.com
