As disasters happen locally and nationally, Disaster Teams mobilize to assist victims with cleanup, construction needs, food service and chaplaincy ministry. Depending on disaster efforts, there could be an age restriction and formal training requirements.

This team will be working on several construction projects on the facilities at Lyndon Center Baptist Church.

FLORIDA - April 7-13 and Oct. 6-12 (Blue Skies Ministries)
Blue Skies offers weeklong family retreats to bring the hope of Christ to families living through the challenges of pediatric cancer. There are volunteer roles for all ages and skills. All volunteers work together serving the families to ensure a retreat of a lifetime.

CANADA - May 24-28 (Outreach Mission)
This team will be working with Crossroads Baptist Church to reach their community through prayer walking, children’s ministry, and various other outreach events.

This team will be working with Anchorage Hope Baptist Church to reach, evangelize and disciple the women and children in their community.

This team will be working with Big Island Baptist Association to host VBS and other outreach opportunities to reach their community. Team Leaders will be Brian Foster & Pastor Mike.

SOUTHERN USA - November 22-27 (Thanksgiving Mission)
This team will be working on a project to help people in need following a disaster of some type (i.e. Hurricane Katrina or Alabama tornadoes).
