ONGOING OPPORTUNITIES
Baker's Ministry: Baker's Ministry makes the first contact from the church after a family/person has visited. We deliver a bag of baked goods to greet them when they arrive home from their first visit to BHBC. The baked goods have a survey with a meal ticket for the family/person to have a free Wednesday night meal. Bakers and deliverers are needed. Contact: Cindy Bruin ()
SOS (Support Our Soldiers) Ministry: Our ministry's biggest needs are for individuals, families or LifeGroups to "adopt a soldier" and/or refer soldiers to us so that we can begin ministering to them and to their families. Those with a special heart for our soldiers are invited to join our ministry team in corresponding with soldiers and their families and serving as a liaison between soldiers, those who have adopted them and the ministry team. Contact: Sherry Murray ()
Life Care Ministries: BHBC provides support and study groups to help people in the areas of Stewardship, Divorce Care, Grief Share, Post Abortion and Job Seekers. All volunteers are required to go through training in order to volunteer. Other areas of service within the ministry include providing prayer support and helping create Mary Magdalene Baskets. Volunteers are needed to take food provided by the church on Sunday morning and bring it back to the church prepared on Monday afternoon. Volunteers are also needed to pack, deliver and serve the food on Monday evening. Transportation to the shelter is provided.
