Unite is the college ministry of Burnt Hickory and offers the opportunity for college students to be involved with Bible studies, lifegroups, ministries, missions and events.
College LifeGroup
The Unite LifeGroup meets at The Oaks (house across Old Mountain Rd) on Sunday mornings at 11:00. This is a time of fellowship and growth as we study Scripture with fellow believers. We all meet together first and a teacher presents the verses or chapter we are looking at that day. After this time together we break out into smaller groups to further dissect the word of God and what weight they hold in our everyday lives. The purpose behind this set up lies in the name of the ministry itself; we desire to be united as the Body of Christ as Jesus prayed for us to be in John 17. This format allows us all to hear the subject for the day together and then get into a more intimate setting to build deeper relationships with each other that carry over into life throughout the rest of the week.
College Bible Studies
The college guys meet at The Oaks (house across Old Mountain Rd) on Mondays at 7:30pm led by Pastor Mike himself. It is very exciting to be a part of Burnt Hickory for reasons like this: our pastor takes the time out of his busy week to come and pour into college-aged guys. He helps train and disciple guys to be the men of God they were always meant to be. Optional basketball follows for more time to fellowship and deepen relationships with each other.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25
At 3pm in the RADIATE Auditorium, the UNITE college ministry is hosting a shower for Wellsprings, an organization whose mission is to rescue girls and women from the trade of human trafficking. While helping this much-needed ministry with gifts from their wish list, you will hear the Wellspring volunteer coordinator share her heart about this important ministry to those caught in the clutches of this terrible human tragedy right here in our own backyard. Both men and women are invited to this event as you, along with UNITE ministry, learn how we can make a difference in the lives of others.
