Sole to Soul is the dance ministry of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church. The primary objective of the dance ministry is to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Classes are offered for children age three through college. Beginning and experienced dancers are invited to attend. Students are not required to be members of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church to participate.
A non-refundable yearly registration fee of $20 per student is required for enrollment. This fee covers administrative costs and assures the student(s) a spot on the class roster. If you register more than one sibling, the additional student registration fee(s) will be applied to your tuition once the semester begins.
Tuition is $40 per month for 1-hour classes, $55 per month for 1.5 hour classes. Families with multiple children participating in the program receive 10% of their total tuition.

Preschool I - 3yr olds (age 3 by 9/1/10) - A unique blend of very basic ballet technique and creative movement designed especially for young dancers.
Preschool 1 - 3yr olds - Tuesdays 1:15 pm-2:15 pm
This class is currently full. Check out the Thursday 4:30 pm class as an alternative.

Preschool II - 4 yr olds (age 4 by 9/1/10) - A unique blend of very basic ballet technique and creative movement designed especially for young dancers.

Preschool III - 3-4 yr olds (ages 3 or 4 by 9/1/10) - A unique blend of very basic ballet technique and creative movement designed especially for young dancers.
Preschool III - 3 -4 yr olds - Thursdays 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Beginner Ballet A - Ages 5-6 yr olds (age 5 by 9/1/10) - Students introduced to more traditional ballet training, including ballet terminology, barre work, and center adagio and allegro exercises.
Beginner Ballet A 5-6 yr olds - Thursdays at 1:15 pm is Closed at this time.

Beginner Ballet B - ages 5-6 yr olds (age 5 by 9/01/10) (this class open to BHBC Weekday Education Early 5's students)- Students introduced to more traditional ballet training, including ballet terminology, barre work, and center adagio and allegro excercises.
Beginner Ballet B 5-6 yr olds - Thursdays 5:30pm-6:30 pm
Primary Classes - ages 7-8 and grade 1-3rd. Students participate in a full technical class, focusing on more complicated ballet steps and combinations of movement. (Ballet classes meet for 1 hour; jazz meets for 30 minutes immediately following ballet; limited to 15 students)
Primary Ballet 1 or Ballet/Jazz Classes 1st - 3rd Grades Tues. 4:30 pm
Primary Classes - ages 9-11 and grades 4th-6th. Students participate in a full technical class, focusing on more complicated ballet steps and combinations of movement. (Ballet classes meet for 1 hour; jazz meets for 30 minutes immediately following ballet; limited to 15 students)
Primary II Ballet only or Ballet/Jazz Classes 4th-6th Grades Tues. 4:30pm
Intermediate/Advanced Dance Classes - ages 12-18
and grades 7-12th grades. Students will participate in a full technical
ballet/jazz/modern class and more complex combinations of movement.
Class will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Fee is $55 per
